Are they cotton reels or swingarm protectors?

• Well they are both really!!
• This style of cotton reels was designed to overcome the problem with the Suzuki GSX-R1000 '07-'17, GSX-S1000 (ABS) (FA) '15-, GSX-S950 '21-, Katana '19- & GSX-S1000 GT '22- fitted with the standard exhaust/can as our traditional style cotton reels may foul the exhaust under extreme suspension load conditions (see CR0001BK which can still be fitted for these bikes if the standard exhaust/can is replaced).
• The cotton reel is mounted to a special bracket (included with the kit) which brings the cotton reel away from the exhaust/can.
• Due to the position that the cotton reel is mounted, these protectors give protection to the swingarm area and therefore this product has double useage as the bike can still be lifted with a paddock stand on the cotton reel.
• Please note: The Swingarm protectors, Paddock Stand or Elevation series paddock stand bobbins arn't included with this kit - only the Offset Cotton Reels (with the replacement chain adjuster blocks) are included!
